Mental Health Awareness Week

This year’s Mental Health Awareness week, is asking us all to step up and fight for mental health - what will you fight for?

Supplywell is fighting for teachers to have fair pay and support in their roles. We were ultimately created with mental health and wellbeing at the core of our ethos – driven to provide an alternative to mainstream teacher supply agencies.

Despite high profile people such as Steven Fry and Frankie Bridge opening up about their mental health struggles in the mainstream media, mental health is still a tough topic to speak about for many.

I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety for many years and haven’t always felt comfortable sharing my experience. I’m committed to fighting for acceptance and understanding that taking medication for your mental health is nothing to be ashamed of.

The fight for mental health can be fought on many levels, from being an ally to friends and family to sharing personal experiences. If you are a teacher or TA and work with Supplywell you have free access to EveryMind App which empowers you to take control of your wellbeing.
