SupplyWell asked supply teachers for advice on how best to prepare for the first day in a new school. Here are some of their tried and tested tips!

We place teachers and TAs. Our partner schools, which include primary, secondary, LEA, MAT, APs and SEND Schools require a mix of day cover, short and long term and permanent roles.
We work in partnership with our schools and trusts to keep teachers and money in education and do not charge for temporary to permanent. We find that many of our teachers are taken on into full-time positions.
We will need evidence of your identity, right to work in the UK and your teaching qualification. We will need two references, one from your most recent employer. Finally, we will need your enhanced DBS certificate
Safeguarding is really important to us. It’s not just that it’s the law. We know that you know who you are but making sure children are safe is our top priority so we always double and triple check.
Don’t panic! If you haven’t got one. Contact us and we can take care of it for you and when you have completed 10 days work with us we will refund you the total cost. Panic over!
Our tech allows us to pay teachers more and charge schools less. We pay our teachers based on your experience. We guarantee a minimum pay amount depending on your level.
