About the Role

We are looking for caring and supportive teaching assistants to work with one of our amazing schools in St Helens starting this April. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a 1:1 basis with children and in small groups as well as a general setting. There is the opportunity to work full time, 5 days of the week as well as part time and flexible hours, paying between £70-80 per day. It will be a contracted position for 3 months, with a view to extend it after that. Their ideal teaching assistant will support the teacher in producing this, always putting the needs and happiness of the children at the forefront of what they do. They are committed to teaching the national curriculum in a way that is accessible to the children, ensuring that each child’s learning method is taken on board and approached uniquely.

  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/ education history included and have any employment breaks explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
